Great Morning Eagles!!
We have all been and maybe currently waiting for God to do what he has said he will do! This wait can either hurt us, help us, frustrate us, or calm us. It’s all about your understanding of who God is and your understanding of the wait!
In Psalms 27 it tells us to “Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord
The hope, peace, and fulfillment this scripture gives us are that we can wait with confidence on the Lord to come and do what he said. God is not a man that he shall ever lie nor does he ever have to repent. He is perfect and will never leave us nor forsake us. His word also informs us that we have and we will never see the righteous forsaken. Who are the righteous you ask? YOU ARE!!!
You may have been waiting for days, weeks, months, years! Ask and evaluate you with these questions1. How are you waiting? Is it in complaint or confidence
2. Are you expecting God to answer your prayer or in doubt that it’s a possibility he won’t?
3. Have you given up on waiting because it hasn’t happened in YOUR TIMING?
Make sure what you’re waiting for is even what God wants for you! Sometimes we can ask for something and be waiting on it and DIDN'T even seeks God's will first. We have to align our desires with God to get what he has for us. Remember, his plan and will for our lives is much greater than what we could ask!
